Education plays the main role for the empowerment. So The Department of Empowerment of Person with Disabilities, under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has commencement a Scholarship Scheme for PWD Student. In care of their bright future and to help them to make their won identity.
Rules & Regulation for Pre-Scholarship Scheme
1. Candidates should be studied in Class IX- X & should be a regular/ full-time student in a Government school or in a school recognised by Government or State Board
2. Candidates with less than 40% disabilities will not applicable for this Scheme.
3. Scholarship for studying in a class will be available for only one year. If the student repeats the class twice he/ she would not get the scholarships again.
4. The student under this scholarships can't hold any other scholarships by Government. If the do their name will be erased from the list
5. Not more than two children from one family are not allowed to apply for this sachem
6. The scholarship will be paid to the students whose parents/ Guardian's' income from all source does not exceed Rs. 200000/- per year.

How To Apply For The Pre Metric Scholarship for PWD
1. Go to the website www.scholarships.gov.in
2. Click on Apply for fresh on Homepage
3. Enter details and click Registration
4. After successfully get Registration, student will get their won Student Registration ID
5. With the Student Registration ID, students have to log in into the account
6. Click on the " Application form " button
7. Enter all required information
8. Click on " save and continue " button, next page will appear
9. Fill up all the details
10. Upload all required document
11. Click on " Final submission "
Candidates are advised to remember their Student Registration ID and Password for further check their file status and review.
